night time lizzards
While in sri lanka, we went into the jungle at night to find the slow lorris... we spotted a few, but no pics... impossible! But during our jaunts, there was plenty of life to scratch my photographic itch. This guy posed nicely for me, and using my flashlight as a spotlight, created a nice affect... species unknown to me! :) I need to invest in a reptiles ID book i think! :)

The Common Green Forest Lizard is an agamid lizard found in the forests of the Western Ghats and the Shevaroy Hills in India, and Sri Lanka.

Reptiles at night spotting tip: look on the side of the path where the sun last set. They will all be on that side, and none on the opposite side. Posted 10 years ago
