night time lizzards While in sri lanka, we went into the jungle at night to find the slow lorris... we spotted a few, but no pics... impossible! But during our jaunts, there was plenty of life to scratch my photographic itch. This guy posed nicely for me, and using my flashlight as a spotlight, created a nice affect... species unknown to me! :) I need to invest in a reptiles ID book i think! :) Calotes calotes,Common Green Forest Lizard,Geotagged,Spring,Sri Lanka, adhocphotographer, john rowell, srilanka Click/tap to enlarge

  1. Excellent find, I absolutely love doing night tours. Here's some from Madagascar:

Reptiles at night spotting tip: look on the side of the path where the sun last set. They will all be on that side, and none on the opposite side.
