A flock of Cattle Egret gather around a natural pan, waiting for "cattle" and other creatures that have ticks and flies and such to prey upon. These birds are smart. If the "host species" cant be found, wait for them at a place which they have to visit.

The western cattle egret is a species of heron found in the tropics, subtropics and warm temperate zones. Most taxonomic authorities lump this species and the eastern cattle egret together, but some separate them.
