    1. The flower is interesting but I am in no position to tell you what it might be. However please take into account that it was growing in a location that you could easily find foreign plants and flowers within a few metres (feet) of surrounding houses. Posted 10 years ago

        1. I would doubt if it survived the winter of Montreal. It can reach -40C or even colder at times! However it is true that it is also very hot and humid during the summer.
          Coldest months in Montreal depending on which year; end of December, January, February, beginning of March.
          Warmest months also depending on the year are; June, July, august.
          The difference in temperature goes from -40C (including wind) to 35C.
          That's right, a difference of 75C.
