Jungle cat

  3. Great find John. In Namibia, within Nature Conservation (similar to US Fish and Wildlife), we always had issues with domestic cats breeding with "wild" cats, needless to say especially around human settlements. For example, we have the African Black-footed Cat, which looks very similar to this Jungle Cat. Domestic cats would run wild and breed with the Black foot cat, and we had to come in and rectify the problem (extermination).

    This type of cat is rarely seen, and I belief will be the first to go due to its breeding capabilities with domestic cats. Which makes this photo even greater in my eyes. Well done.
