Mouflon on the run
I've just returned from one of the hardest assignments I've had: filming the Anatolian mouflon for the Turkish national parks. It's one of the most alert animals I've ever worked with. The terrain it lives on is extremely rough and the animal is virtually invisible unless it moves.

The mouflon is a subspecies group of the wild sheep. Populations of ''O. orientalis'' can be partitioned into the mouflons and the urials. The mouflon is thought to be one of the two ancestors for all modern domestic sheep breeds.
