    1. in Zsl whipsnade. I have since spoken to them and it appears the correct description is Desert Locust the same as a photograph I previously posted. The zsl sign was misleading but has now been corrected. Posted 10 years ago

        1. When I tried uploading the original photograph the process stalled and took me back to the jungle. The desert locust is a species of locust. Plagues of desert locusts have threatened agricultural production in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia for centuries. The livelihood of at least one-tenth of the world’s human population can be affected by this voracious insect.
