
The missing link?
It is not common to see this behaviour in Chital, but from time to time, there are a few individuals in a herd that do it. They stand on the hind legs to reach the tastier leafs slightly out of reach. Is this the next step in evolution? Will we see this more often? And will the result be? :)

The chital or cheetal, also known as chital deer, spotted deer or axis deer is a deer which commonly inhabits wooded regions of Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and in small numbers in Pakistan.
