King with a kill I had to come into work early this morning, so brought my gear with me incase a good opportunity to procrastinate presented itself... and well it did. I tried to get the 'dive', missing it each time, but got this nice shot with the frog in beak! :) Geotagged,Halcyon smyrnensis,India,NCBS,White-throated kingfisher,Winter, adhocphotographer, bangalore, gkvk, india, instem, john rowell Click/tap to enlarge Promoted

The white-throated kingfisher, also known as the white-breasted kingfisher is a tree kingfisher, widely distributed in Asia from the Sinai east through the Indian subcontinent to the Philippines. This kingfisher is a resident over much of its range, although some populations may make short distance movements.
