Born on father's day this Mantis Religiosa accompanied by hundreds of other newborns. They measured approximately one quarter of an inch (more or less 7mm) and physically resembled the ants. As soon as they were all born they let the wind take them away within one or two hours.

"Mantis religiosa", referred to as the European Mantis outside of Europe and known simply as the Praying Mantis in Europe and elsewhere, is one of the most well-known and widespread species of the order Mantodea.
