Portrait of a living tank !
The Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros is a Vulnerable species and in India, the Jaldapara National Park is one of those last remaining homes of this beautiful mammal. I was on an Elephant back safari and our elephant had went extremely close to the Rhinoceros. With me I just had a telephoto prime lens and hence, could only take a close portrait of the rhino.

The Indian rhinoceros, also called the greater one-horned rhinoceros and great Indian rhinoceros, is a rhinoceros species native to the Indian subcontinent. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, as populations are fragmented and restricted to less than 20,000 km2.
