Black Bear & Cub
I Always Take my camera gear when i am out hiking you never know when your going to find a nice image of wildlife & fauna . This particular day i was out walking in Port Moody Shorline Park & i came across this Mother Black Bear & her Cub , she actually had two cubs but the other cub was in a stream & i could not get a clear image of both cubs so i was able to get this cute cub & her Mother Bear was busy eating Grass one of there main foods as well as berries, bugs, seeds, & sometimes salmon, deer, birds or whatever meat they can find .
The American black bear is a medium-sized bear native to North America. It is the continent's smallest and most common bear species. Black bears are omnivores with their diets varying greatly depending on season and location. They typically live in largely forested areas, but do leave forests in search of food.
