Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle
The Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle in the 1960's was once almost gone but now the population is on the rise. Seen all over the Hawaiian Islands they spend the majority of their time on reefs at depths less than 100'. They bask on the beaches in the warm sunshine to maintain their body temperature.

The green sea turtle, also known as the green turtle, black turtle or Pacific green turtle, is a species of large sea turtle of the family Cheloniidae. It is the only species in the genus "Chelonia". Its range extends throughout tropical and subtropical seas around the world, with two distinct populations in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but it is also found in the Indian Ocean.
