    In my language, we called this bird "vrabac", or sweetly "vrapčić"

    But, "The house sparrow" s very interesting name, too! :)

    1. Are you from Croatia? We have very few photos from this country so it would be nice if you could geotag your photo.
      If you know the name of a species in your own language you can search for the scientific (Latin) name - Passer domesticus in this case and use it to identify the photo.

  3. No. I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the country to neighboring Croatian. Very small, but very interesting and important. I encourage you to visit it if you have the opportunity. The country in which he lives three types of peoples and nations, with great history and many traditional attractions.

The house sparrow is a bird of the sparrow family Passeridae, found in most parts of the world. A small bird, it has a typical length of 16 cm and a weight of 24–39.5 g. Females and young birds are coloured pale brown and grey, and males have brighter black, white, and brown markings.
