Still working on the identification. I particularly love the delicate and precise decoration on this one. Found during the day in Sri Lanka in some shrubs. Given its wing position I think it's a geometer, but which one?

      1. Well, according to this list there are no Idaea species in Sri Lanka. On the other hand, Scopula species are also similar, but I cannot find photos of the two species from the list.

"Scopula pulchellata" is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is found in the Indo-Australian tropics, from India, Sri Lanka to Taiwan and the Solomon Islands, as well as in Africa.
