Grainy Noodle! The rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri), also known as the ring-necked parakeet, is a gregarious tropical Afro-Asian parakeet species that has an extremely large range. Shot this image in a farm at outskirts of Bangalore. It was during the evening time post sun-set so could not avoid grains in the pic as I had to bump up the ISO (due to low light).<br />

The rose-ringed parakeet is a medium-sized parrot in the genus Psittacula, of the family Psittacidae. It has disjunct native ranges in Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, and is now introduced into many other parts of the world where feral populations have established themselves and are bred for the exotic pet trade.
