Reindeer in Lofoten Islands
Picture taken last summer (June 2014) in Lofoten Islands with a Canon 650D. Weather was bad, rainy and very cold, but I managed to take this picture getting very close to the animals. Reindeers are quiet animals and if you travel by car all along the Country you can see a lot of them, sometimes they even cross the street while you are driving - so take care!
The reindeer or caribou is a species of deer with circumpolar distribution, native to Arctic, subarctic, tundra, boreal, and mountainous regions of Northern Europe, Siberia, and North America.
