    1. Thank you. This was in a strange setting. We called it the horror motel. Bad road, bad personnel, horrible lodge, horrible service. The thing I remember most though is that was pretty much my only macro opportunity in our whole trip, so all is good :) Posted 10 years ago

"Acraea terpsicore", the tawny coster, is a small, 53–64 millimetres, leathery-winged butterfly common in grassland and scrub habitats. It belongs to the Nymphalidae or brush-footed butterfly family. It has a weak fluttery flight. It is avoided by most insect predators.
