Common Impala ewe - Funny Nature
A Common Impala ewe draws a funny face for the camera. It is notable how her facial markings represent a Black-faced Impala, except for the black spots on the ears (which is visible on a Black-faced Impala). Both Impala species are Specially Protected within Namibia due to the threat of inter-breeding.
The impala is a medium-sized African antelope. It is the type species of the genus "Aepyceros" and belongs to the family Bovidae. Two subspecies of the impala have been recognised: the common impala and the black-faced.
