Magnolia flower Possibly one of the most beautiful flowers I have ever encountered. <br />
There have been some pretty bland trees growing in one of the aviaries for several years and then suddenly they bloomed! The flowers are enormous, about 18cm across but I believe they can grow to 30cm! The scent is just heavenly. Unfortunately the flowers do not last long so I am enjoying these while I can.<br />
