          1. This site forces you to think about what you shoot. I once was completely clueless about what I photographed, and now much more aware. And some categories I struggle with still. If you use the site long enough, eventually you'll become species obsessed. You won't rest until you find it, and will actively collect new ones. Or so I hope :) Posted 10 years ago

The Southern Hawker or Blue Darner is a 70 millimetres long species of hawker dragonfly. It is large, with a long body. It has green markings on the black bodies, and the male also has blue spots on the abdomen.
