Bringing home breakfast (original)
The first shot I uploaded here was my favorite photo - this one with an enhanced sky that I added in post to make even the sky dramatic. I have had it printed in very large size on canvas and it looks quite dramatic on the wall. A print of it sold for $250 neither numbered nor signed at a museum in Nashville last month. In that it is my favorite shot, I thought I would also upload the original version without the enhanced sky. This is Fleck, my favorite osprey whom I often visit and photograph. He was kind enough to give me this very unique shot last March when I stopped by his nest for a visit. He lives in Ft. Desoto Park, a large county park in St. Petersburg, Florida

The osprey, also called sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey with a cosmopolitan range. It is a large raptor reaching more than 60 cm in length and 180 cm across the wings. It is brown on the upperparts and predominantly greyish on the head and underparts.
