Bringing home breakfast (original) The first shot I uploaded here was my favorite photo - this one with an enhanced sky that I added in post to make even the sky dramatic. I have had it printed in very large size on canvas and it looks quite dramatic on the wall. A print of it sold for $250 neither numbered nor signed at a museum in Nashville last month. In that it is my favorite shot, I thought I would also upload the original version without the enhanced sky. This is Fleck, my favorite osprey whom I often visit and photograph. He was kind enough to give me this very unique shot last March when I stopped by his nest for a visit. He lives in Ft. Desoto Park, a large county park in St. Petersburg, Florida Osprey,Pandion haliaetus, birds, birds of prey, fishing birds, fleck the osprey, osprey, osprey in flight, osprey with fish, raptor, sea eagle Click/tap to enlarge

  1. It is not accepted to upload the same or nearly identical photos here. They are considered duplicates and usually deIeted. That's why I asked you to post a link to the original photo before. I don't know if Ferdy will approve it. Posted 10 years ago
    1. It's ok, I kind of brought this on myself due to asking about the original. It's well-intended so I'll let this one stay, as an exception. Posted 10 years ago
      1. Thanks Ferdy, actually I realized that the link that I had supplied was one of the enhanced versions and I just formatted the original, this one, to enter in a show in which I went Best of Show last year with my "Direct Eye Contact with a Cormorant" shot and I'm hoping to to the same with this. This show, judged by a pro jury requires only "normal" enhancements and in that they want 11x14, this one is formatted differently to accommodate that printing size. If it was any other shot, I would not have dreamed of putting up another version, but this one is simply my all time favorite shot of my favorite bird! Thanks again for the understanding, but I would have totally understood if you needed or wanted to delete it. Posted 10 years ago
