  1. Fantastic shot! :) I lived in Finland briefly in 2002, and never managed to see one, but always wanted to! :) Posted 10 years ago
  2. Outstanding capture of a great animal. I've lived in Finland over 50 years and saw my first Wolverine last year. I haven't visited any hides made for photographing Bears, Wolverines and other animals though. There it's rather easy to see. I saw my first spontaneously and unexpectedly during a birding trip :). I was really happy! Posted 9 years ago

The wolverine, pronounced /ˈwʊlvəriːn/, "Gulo gulo", also referred to as glutton, carcajou, skunk bear, or quickhatch, is the largest land-dwelling species of the family Mustelidae. It is a stocky and muscular carnivore, more closely resembling a small bear than other mustelids. The wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.
