    1. This was actually quite sad to watch. I'm normally on the predators side since their job is much harder. However this time, they went for a very young zebra and the mother stood there, went back and forth until the lions were finished with their meal and you could almost feel her loss... The lion is one of the five big cats in the genus "Panthera" and a member of the family Felidae. The commonly used term African lion collectively denotes the several subspecies found in Africa. With some males exceeding 250 kg in weight, it is the second-largest living cat after the tiger.
