Andean Condor This guy was rescued an an egg 13 years ago and travels around the country to various raptor events.  He has a spectacular 10 foot wing span and he follows his master around with his amazing wings spread.  I had the privilege of spending some time with this amazing bird earlier in the year. The Andean Condor is a species of South American bird in the New World vulture family Cathartidae and is the only member of the genus ''Vultur''. Found in the Andes mountains and adjacent Pacific coasts of western South America, the Andean Condor has a wingspan of up to 3.2 m/10.5 ft but is exceeded by the Wandering Albatross the Southern Royal Albatross the Dalmatian and the Great White Pelicans.
