  2. Cool - I've never hear of it. I'd guess it's far overshadowed by it's bigger cousins - lions, cheetahs, leopards. His face reminds me of a cougar, but it sounds like he's a lot smaller. Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago

The African golden cat is a medium-sized wild cat distributed over the rainforests of West and Central Africa. It is about 80 cm long, and has a tail of about 30 cm in length. It is a close relative of both the caracal and the serval, but current classification places it as the only member of the genus ''Profelis''.
