  3. I heard about a Hemant Kumar, finally got a chance to see your pics. I'm sure you are the only one whom I heard about. I liked this pic of Barn Swallow, i saw you clicked it near Ameenpur Lake recently. Is ameenpur lake visited by migratories? This is the perfect season for the migratories, are there any ducks / geese you saw recently? I will plan a visit there sometime soon. Posted 10 years ago
    1. thank you sumeet, we have small, oriental pratincole, Garganey in ameenpur and greater flamingos n bar headed gees, pintail , montague and few more raptors in osman sagar. Posted 10 years ago
      1. That's wonderful, can I also ask for another favour from you? I need to know from where do you reach the shore of osman sagar to watch the bar headed geese? Can you give me any landmark or can you point out the place in google maps? Is there a place to park the car somewhere nearby? Posted 10 years ago

The barn swallow is the most widespread species of swallow in the world. It is a distinctive passerine bird with blue upperparts, a long, deeply forked tail and curved, pointed wings. It is found in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
