  3. Indian Roller is one similar kind of bird found here in India. As per my observation this bird is of very shy nature, Its a difficult to capture its behavior in camera, In that sense you are very lucky and I must say Its a GREAT Shot indeed. Posted 10 years ago

The Abyssinian roller is a member of the roller family of birds which breeds across tropical Africa in a belt south of the Sahara, known as the Sahel. It is resident in the southern part of its range, but northern breeding populations are short-distance migrants, moving further south after the wet season.
