    This is a nice catch, but I am not sure about the species. Cattle egrets have yellow bills while this one looks darker. They are similar, but I guess this one is a little egret (Egretta garzetta).

    1. thx for the comment but this one is a cattle egret i am 100% sure. little egret has very prominent dark bill pale ,pinkish or grayish at the base and dark legs with yellow feet. in the little egret link i can see the top two pics are actually cattle egret. plz check Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
      1. I fixed the first one, but this is the second one, I am not sure which one you have in mind. If you are sure about this one you can just change the species ID yourself. Remove the little egret from the red X and identify it again. Posted 10 years ago

The western cattle egret is a species of heron found in the tropics, subtropics and warm temperate zones. Most taxonomic authorities lump this species and the eastern cattle egret together, but some separate them.
