Oriental Garden lizard closeup, Wilpaththu, Sri Lanka

Photo by my girlfriend Henriette. Our driver in Sri Lanka, who also had "some" wildlife knowledge, kept insisting that this was a chameleon. After that we stopped trusting him with any identification :)

  I know, Henriette is quite good! She lacks the tech skills, but makes up with it for having a good photographer's eye and a great feel for composition and balance, things I lack mostly. We both have our pros and cons. I'm too rushed but that's a plus for actionable shots which she will miss, yet her still shots are better than mine. Posted 10 years ago
