Bull Moose - Into the Fog
Two bull moose work their way down an abandoned logging road on a foggy mountain morning in north Idaho. The moose are starting to congregate to their winter habitat and it is not uncommon to see several in one morning. I saw these two bulls along with two cows on this particular morning.

The moose or elk is a member of the New World deer subfamily and is the largest and heaviest extant species in the deer family. Most adult male moose have distinctive broad, palmate antlers; most other members of the deer family have antlers with a dendritic configuration.
