
Blue-tailed Bee-eater front view, Wilpaththu, Sri Lanka
I hope you're not getting bored by bee-eaters. You have to understand that I live in a part of the world where none occurs at all, so they're a tropical joy for me to photograph. Anyway, this is a blue-tailed bee-eater, although in this position you do not get to see its blue tail :)

The Blue-tailed Bee-eater is a near passerine bird in the bee-eater family Meropidae. It breeds in southeastern Asia. It is strongly migratory, seen seasonally in much of peninsular India.
