  1. Hi, looking at the black and yellow scheme and the head pattern ,I think this is a chicken snake, Spilotes pullatus. Drymobius margaritiferus has a blue head. Posted 7 years ago

''Drymobius margaritiferus'', commonly known as the Speckled Racer, is a species of nonvenomous colubrid snake native to the Americas. The specific name, ''margariiferus'', means "pearl-bearing" in Latin, referring to the pearl-like spots on the dorsal scales.
