  1. oooo - I've seen that before (in a photo at least!) It's a seed bug, probably a lygaeinae of some sort - looking for a perfect match! Posted 10 years ago

      1. I haven't forgotten about this one… I've been able to narrow it down to a Dysdercus, but haven't seen an exact match. Dysdercus suturellus is very, very close and, I think, occurs in Sri Lanka, but still looks a little different. Could be a color morph or a different stage of life than the photos I've seen though.
