
Deadly Galerina growing on a burned tree ☠
A few years ago a fire swept through this area due to an incorrectly quenched camp fire. Many of the trees are burned, but still alive. The area has recovered remarkably and this year is host to quite a variety of mushrooms

"Galerina marginata", known colloquially as the funeral bell or the deadly skullcap, is a species of poisonous fungus in the family Hymenogastraceae of the order Agaricales.
