      1. Thank you for the help. I tried to narrow further and think it is most probably Echinops sphaerocephalus.
        BTW, this is the only Echinops species included in the multilingual Botanical dictionary (BG-DE-EN-RU-FR-Latin) from 1994, containing the most plants recorded in Bulgaria.
