High Ropes In an attempt to get some close ups of some birds I climbed a tree twenty some feet high. As I hung about keeping watch of every step, this little squirrel came running along a branch to find me in the way of his home. He stood up on the branch like so and was debating his next move. After a bit of hesitation he decided to jump right over my foot to continue his way on the branch and to his destination. A bit of a different perspective of a squirrel I thought would be fun to share since I've lacked material. 1. A beautiful experience! I just came from Sri Lanka where squirrels were so inquisitive, even jumping on your table. Posted 10 years ago

"Sciurus carolinensis", common name eastern gray squirrel or grey squirrel depending on region, is a tree squirrel in the genus "Sciurus". It is native to eastern North America, but has since been introduced to European regions.
