Color in the desert Where there is water there are trees. I think they were mostly aspens and birches. We haven't hiked much on the east side of the state, where it is very dry, but we chose this hike today because it's finally cool enough and the days are short enough that the rattlesnakes should have all gone into hibernation :p.
