Moth (or Drain) fly

These flies occur in large numbers at sewerage plants where they assist in breaking down fungal mats that clog the filtration systems. This one was in my garden...which is not a sewage plant!

"Clogmia albipunctata" is a species of drain fly, a member of the family Psychodidae commonly known as the bathroom moth midge, bathroom moth fly or drain fly.
