    1. Actually not, only Alligators. Crocodiles have a long, narrow V-shaped snout, with visible teeth even when their mouthes are closed.

      Alligators have a wider U-shaped snout with no visible teeth when their mouthes are closed. A picture of an alligator in these swamps is here:

      Crocodiles do not live in the area of New Orleans, the only place in the United States where they can be found is in southern Florida.
