        It seems to be Hericium coralloides after all.

          I wish I had a better lens for closeups with me at the time I came across it.

  2. Its a tricky one, could be either. A close up would be helpful to see if it has teeth! Both are Hericiums though, so a step in the right direction! Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
