  1. Now this is interesting, I have already posted a couple of Cape white-eyes but when identifying the species it came up as Z. pallidus, whereas yours is shown as Z.virens.
    On researching further it appears that there are several divisions of Zosterops but ADW show virens as being a subspecies of pallidus ie. Z. p. virens and Birdlife South Africa dont mention virens at all. All in all I have got myself somewhat confused and I shall have to delve deeper.
    I am learning something new every day so Thank you!
