      Thank you, I was very happy with this find. I think they're pretty sensitive to sun, or better said, sensitive to almost anything. I don't know why it is so large and so orange, it's not unique, but this combination is not often found if I look at reference photos. Posted 10 years ago

The Red slug

The red slug, also known as the chocolate arion or the European red slug, Arion rufus, is a large land slug, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Arionidae, the roundback slugs. This species is characterised by its (usually) red or brown body and lack of a keel.
