  1. Oh wow, you have certainly excelled yourself with this one, gorgeous shot! Beautiful bird, unusual shaped head and beak.
Not checked the video yet, suffering with rubbish internet connection.

    1. Thank you Claire. They are beautiful birds and hard to photograph...flying fast and swooping around. I tried to get it to sit still and pose but to no avail, so Char was lucky to get such a clear shot. Posted 8 years ago
  2. Another great post, loving both the photo and the video! Posted 8 years ago
    1. Thanks Ferdy,
I am having a bit of trouble with this one. please take a look at it and see my comment and perhaps you could comment on my quandry:
Brown booby (female) Normally the booby flies with its tail straight and tapered. This one has its tail fanned which is throwing me a bit off, but in all other respects it is a female booby...unless someone has another suggestion. Perhaps she is using her tail to slow down. 1. I don't have any birding knowledge in this case to question the assumption you made, sorry :) Posted 8 years ago
        1. OK I checked tons of pictures online and it does appear that they do sometimes flre their tail feathers in flight. Thanks anyway. Posted 8 years ago
  3. Very nice flight shot.
