        Probably, at least this seems to be the most common one, but I haven't checked the other species for look-alikes. Posted 11 years ago

The Scarlet Star

"Guzmania lingulata" or scarlet star is a species of flowering plant in the bromeliad family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Tillandsioideae, native to rainforest habitats in Central America, northern South America and the West Indies. It is an evergreen epiphytic perennial.
