  1. Excellent species intro! I recently saw and photographed a similar looking coral fungus that is still in my "backlog" of photos. My understanding is that there's quite a few species all looking similar to this. Posted 10 years ago

''Ramaria stricta'', commonly known as the strict-branch coral is a coral fungus of the genus ''Ramaria''. It has a cosmopolitan distribution, and grows on dead wood, stumps, trunks, and branches of both deciduous and coniferous trees.
