    1. I just love these, first time I have captured one with such distinctive yellow pectoral feathers. This one was not on a tripod but leaning on a railing, so cheating somewhat! Posted 10 years ago

The Southern Double-collared Sunbird or Lesser Double-collared Sunbird, ''Cinnyris chalybeus'' , is a small passerine bird which breeds in southern South Africa. It is mainly resident, but partially migratory in the north-east of its range.
