Finally - the summit! Thadiyandamol, Coorg - This is the 2nd tallest mountain range in Karnataka. Tallest point of the trek, from where the whole fleet of other hills are visible through the horizon. The best part - camping is allowed (day / night) for the trekkers on the summit at their own risk, despite the presence of wild Elephants. It can't get any more adventurous than that! 1. Stunning scenery, quite breathtaking. Did you see any elephants? Posted 11 years ago
    1. No, Claire. There's more human activity in that area in the day time in certain seasons of a year, due to which the Elephants avoid the spot, unless at night time. It isn't a hotspot to sight them either, unlike in some dense areas of the forest. Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago
  2. I lost a ton of images when my last hard drive died on me. I am gonna check if I were smart enough to back them up on a DVD before the crash. I hope I can find some of those pics at least.

Most pics were from my wildlife trips and from wildlife census I had participated in. Lot of Elephant pics.
