Asian Rice (Oryza sativa) - What we see in the image above is the rice paddy plantation in the cultivated field.
It is a muddy, back breaking work, planting these little plants, just so we can feed on the Rice later on. Hence, let us not waste such valuable food, as it not only involves money, but many peoples blood, sweat, and pain behind its production.
Oryza sativa, commonly known as Asian rice, is the plant species most commonly referred to in English as rice. One of the world’s most important staple crops and a major part in the diet of more than half the world’s population, rice also has many medicinal uses.
