Built to impress

The budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus) /ˈbʌdʒərɨɡɑr/, also known as common pet parakeet or shell parakeet and informally nicknamed the budgie, is a small, long-tailed, seed-eating parrot.

The feather belongs to a cute little male Budgie I had for a few days at home. They make a very interesting photographic subject - evidently!
