Waiting for my meal Golden Orb-web Spider (Nephila pilipes) - Found this Spider sitting on its web a few feet above the ground level in Agumbe Rain Forest. As usual, clicked this one during the trek. It is one of the biggest spiders in the world.<br />

Golden Orb-web Spider (Nephila pilipes) - Found this Spider sitting on its web a few feet above the ground level in Agumbe Rain Forest. As usual, clicked this one during the trek. It is one of the biggest spiders in the world.

"Nephila pilipes" is a species of golden orb-web spider. It resides all over countries in East and Southeast Asia as well as Oceania. It is commonly found in primary and secondary forests and gardens.
